COVID update at Doctors of Glenroy

Our clinic has been giving the Astra-Zeneca COVID vaccine since late March, and it's been a busy but rewarding few months.

You'll notice that although most of the staff are fully vaccinated, we still wear masks, and we ask that patients and visitors to the clinic continue to wear masks. The vaccine is excellent at preventing severe COVID illness, but it is still possible to catch the virus, and potentially pass it on to someone else. And if that person isn't vaccinated, they are at risk of severe illness. It looks like masks will be part of our everyday lives until the majority of the public has been vaccinated.

Vaccination is not the only important way to keep safe. Remember to get tested if you have any symptoms...

  • sore throat

  • cough

  • runny nose

  • fever

...and stay home until you get your result, then stay home until you are well.

If you have appointment coming up, and you have symptoms, please contact our clinic. Our receptionists can give you advice on how to get a test, and can change your appointment to a Telehealth one.

You'll also notice that we have Services Victoria QR codes for checking in, separate to our appointment check in. Please let our receptionist know if your have any difficulty with the QR code.

If you've been vaccinated, well done, and thank you. If not, I've added some links below for more information about the vaccines, and how you can get one. If you're eligible for the Astra-Zeneca vaccine, please contact us for an appointment in our vaccination clinic.
